PARTNERSHIP
In collaboration with Perpétuel, Singer presents the 1969 Chronograph Perpétuel Edition.
The encounter between Marco Borraccino, the Managing Director and co-founder of the brand, with Hamdan Bin Humaid Al Hudaidi, co-founder of Perpétuel, planted the seed for a remarkable take on the Singer Reimagined 1969 Chronograph.
As explained by Marco Borraccino: “The 1969 collection is a milestone for Singer collection development. We introduced this new model as a tribute to the design and the aesthetic codes of an era we cherish particularly. With Hamdam we decided to inject an unexpected touch developing this extraordinary Terracotta lacquered dial complemented with Eastern Arabic figures. This limited Edition of 10 pieces represents the second iteration of this kind with Perpétuel, equipped, this time, with the exquisite and highly innovative Agengraphe central chronograph movement.”
DESIGN AND MECHANISM
TIMELESS DESIGN
Paying homage to the timeless design of iconic watches from the 1960s and 70s, this watch is not just a tribute; it’s a love letter to an era that epitomized style and sophistication.
At the heart of this timepiece is the renowned Agengraphe caliber, the pinnacle of Singer Reimagined’s high-watchmaking approach.
AESTHETICS
With enhanced readability and an award-winning 60-hour chronograph function taking center stage on the captivating terracotta dial, the 1969 Chronograph Perpétuel Edition is the epitome of refined craftsmanship.
The Hindu Arabic numerals add a unique touch to the dial, blending tradition with contemporary flair.
CENTRAL CHRONOGRAPH
The central dial displays the chronographic information in pure Singer style.
Seconds, jumping minutes and jumping hours hands are centrally mounted and all point to the same base-60 scale. Singer chronographs are the only ones allowing event tracking of up to 60 hours.
Time-of-the-day indication is displayed on the bottom side of the dial, via two disks rotating underneath the dial surface. Disks graphics and time indication arrows are executed in SuperLuminova®
